What Information do we collect?  In using the www.hoombletoys.com website either for obtaining information about us or our Products or Services or otherwise when you contact us, depending on the context of your interactions, you will be asked to voluntarily provide us with information about yourself  i.e. your name, billing address, mailing address, telephone number, contact preferences, email address, debit/credit card numbers, contact or authentication data and other similar information.  The information will be collated in an online form. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Website and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. How long do we keep your information? Do we collect information from Minors? This Site does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. By using the Website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor’s independent use of the Website. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Payment Data. We do not store credit card details.  We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (a credit card number) and the security code associated with your payment instrument. Cookies:  When you enter this website your computer will automatically be issued with a cookie. These are text files that identify your computer to our server, allowing us to improve the speed and reliability of this website to provide you with a better service. Cookies are used only to monitor traffic on our Website.  We do not use these technologies to record any personal preferences, your individual email address or any personally identifying information about you. None of this information is associated with you as an individual. However, if cookies are disabled, this Site may not function as intended and we accept no liability to you for this.

Some services are hosted by third parties but we agree with those third parties that they will keep your information secure and not use it for other purposes. Hoombletoys.com has used all reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorised access to personal information, maintain data accuracy and ensure appropriate use of any personal information. However, you acknowledge that the internet is inherently insecure and hoombletoys.com cannot prevent and is not responsible for, interception or “hacking” of information transmitted through this website by unauthorised third parties. Our Suppliers are expected to support Hoombletoys & Collectables Limited by maintaining appropriate Quality Management Systems (ISO9001 or similar) to ensure they provide products which consistently comply with all relevant legislation, directives and standards as well as limiting environmental impacts.

In accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 we are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Hoombletoys & Collectables Limited is a family run business with strong values and will not work with those that are involved with human trafficking or slavery. We are proud of our values which uphold and proclaim the dignity of all, in particular children. The policies and practices of Hoombletoys & Collectables Limited reflect our commitment to acting ethically, responsibly and with integrity in all our business relationships which includes implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere within our business or our supply chain. As such we take great care in selecting our suppliers and strive to buy products from suppliers who can demonstrate an awareness of, and comply with, appropriate social and ethical standards and who can demonstrate compliance with relevant national and local legislation.

In order to honour our commitment to these issues we undertake all reasonable and practical steps to ensure that our expected standards are being implemented throughout the businesses of our suppliers. We continually work with our suppliers to ensure these standards are maintained and are constantly monitoring our processes and always looking for ways in which we can improve and develop our procedures and policies. At Hoombletoys & Collectables Limited we take toys and play time very seriously, so that no one else has to.
